Written on October 28, 2003 Summary: A single woman CAN be an authority on Getting and Keeping! Okay, firstly, I'd like to thank the reviewer who believes that because Michelle has never been married, she may not be an authority on how to get and keep a man, or the attention of a man. You encouraged me to see just how fast I could buy and read yet another one of Michelle's awesome pieces. The book is classic "Michelle," full of Godly, sound, tried, tested and true advice. I highly recommend it. It is different and that makes it useful and a great, quick read. If you are (or even if you're not) a studier of God's word, you should know that there IS worthy advice according to scripture found in the Song of Solomon, Proverbs and other books of the bible. Michelle reflects that in this book. Buy it! ...NOW: Perhaps some women have been gifted with the patience and wisdom to wait on the RIGHT man, not willing to accept sorry substitutes, no matter how fine, rich or available they may seem. God has the right ONE for all of us. There was a time when I, too questioned Michelle's single status..I'm also single, and would like to have my husband, but in GOD's sovereign time. She is a stunning, intelligent, talented, annointed sister and yes, it puzzles me why God hasn't given her a mate yet. But while she is waiting, you'd be wise to follow the example and teaching that she offers freely. Well, actually for $8.99 plus shipping in this case. Written on October 2, 2003 Summary: Information Obtained from the Source The author explains that the materials come from a survey given to men from all walks of life. She was intelligent enough to obtain information from the source, the men women are trying to attract and keep. This author is an author who hears from God. When you have a relationship with God and allow Him to use you as a vessel, your resume or experience means nothing, when God qualifies you that is all that you need. I recommend this book whether you are trying to attract and keep a man or not. It reminds you to do what is necessary to reflect what God created you to be, a beautiful, confident woman. Written on August 27, 2003 Summary: Best Survey Ever Michelle surveyed over a 100 men to find out what they really want in a Woman! To sum it up, different men are attracted to different things- and Michelle lists them all here! This is not the usual "men only care that a woman has a great heart, and don't really care about anything else" advice. Of course there is some truth to this statement, as men do desire a godly women, however, Michelle points out that men are visually stimulated creatures. Us female readers are encouraged to focus on our gifts and to "accentuate what ya got, and play down what ya don't!" I would expect to see something similar to this short book as an advice article in the middle of Vogue Magazine, the only difference is that this one is full of Biblical truths that will encourage every reader. |
