 Written on April 4, 2008 Summary: Excellent Product! Baby Signs Complete Starter Kit: Everything You Need to Get Started Signing With Your Baby I loved the Baby Signs Complete Starter kit! I have 2 boys and have used it with both. They loved the DVD and I also thought the video dictionary was a great tool for parents to learn the signs. They also love the books and I am very happy that they are hard cover books and they can not rip the pages! The signs at a glance has been helpful to everyone, including babysitters and grandparents to really get involved in the signing process. I would recomment this to everyone! Way to go Baby Signs! I love this product because it shows babies in action...using signs to communicate their wants, needs, and interests.I liked that the DVD showed babies signing the same word differently which is a key indicator that one has to let the baby lead and not worry about the norm. Also, the founders shared the brief history and research behind Baby Signs, Inc. Even after seeing the babies and hearing the research, I thought the most profound part of this product was the testimonies from parents that have used it in the past. The product is inclusive and provides the parents with all the info. needed to make an informed decision about using sign language with their baby while giving the baby interactive tools (books & DVD). My daughters love the books and look forward to reading them with me. We especially love to read the Bath Time book right before our nightly bath. You know to help get them in the mood and it works! This is great because sometimes getting them to clean up can be a struggle. We have also taken Baby Signs(R) Play classes through our local recreation center and I highly suggest those!!
