 Written on November 5, 2006 Summary: Saucy It was a gift to my adult son who likes to barbecue..he found the marinades interesting and has tried a few recipes. Good purchase  Written on July 20, 2006 Summary: Wow!! This is the only barbecue series of books that are not more of the same. Written on July 12, 2006 Summary: From a weekend barbecue warrior Let me first say that I love barbecuing, and I guess you do, or you wouldn't even be checking this or any other barbecue book. I try to grill my family dinners almost every weekend, so I would have to say that I have put on thousands of barbecues this far. I consider this book great because with the recipes on it I can try every now and then to make something a little bit different (I guess just to avoid a mutiny among my family crew, Ja Ja). I don't have to do a fancy or hard to find ingredients, or follow step-by-steps a recipe that might requires to long, but I get great ideas that help me introduce variations that keep the weekends barbecues interesting and fun the whole family. In this book you will find some recipe or idea that you can try, or just learn something new from the "Crash course on grilling and barbecuing" included at the beginning of the book. Last, but not least, always enjoy the experience of barbecuing and grilling at home, with or without this book. With your own recipes or with borrowed recipes. Just enjoy the moment and have a lot of fun with family and friends around the grill. Written on June 28, 2006 Summary: Great! This book offers great recipees for sauces, butters, glazes, oils, and more. The recipees include ingredients that you have around the house. I look forward to trying more of them out! This is a great purchase for anyone who enjoys barbeque. Written on February 22, 2006 Summary: Good Stuff There's a bunch of great recipes inside for taking your grilling to the next level. Be prepared, however, to spend extra money on ingredients as well as explore a few markets and liquor stores to fulfill your shopping lists. You will also need plenty of prep time as many of the recipes need to be applied the night before. If you have a few extra dollars and a few extra minutes, then you are ready to take the step. |
