 Written on April 7, 2008 Summary: Great Blush Great color, love the scent, throw out the brush it comes with and use regular blush brush.  Written on March 28, 2008 Summary: Wow, I love this blusher! I really only use two blushers now. Either this one for a quick, fast, and easy pop of sheer color on my cheeks or Benetint for lasting color and strength of color. Both completely different but both wonderful. I love this make-up line and this blush is just wonderful for my fair to fair/med skin tone. I love a very natural look and occasionally go makeup free (eeek). Even when bare-faced, I take the time to at least cover up my dark circles with Eye Bright and Yves St Laurent Touche Eclat, put on some Dandelion blush to wake up my face, and some lipstick or gloss. There is something about being able to quickly throw on a nice pale, glowy blush without worrying about over application when in a hurry. This goes on so pretty and so pale/light that I have to sometimes use 2 or 3 coats, but that is so much better than the look of just "too much blush." Very natural and just perks my face up just right. Granted, probably not the right product for someone with a darker complexion, but for mine it's sheer perfection. Also, if you are a makeup gal looking for some "drama" from your blusher, this one probably won't work for you. I use a good quality and big powder brush (I rarely use the brushes included with products as my brush has to be "just right") and load it up with powder, sweep it on, and it instantly brightens my face and complexion right up. Makes me look more awake. My only negative is that I go through the product very quickly, but that is the trade off. I've spent years using blushes with just too much color potency for me, and always have had to apply so lightly, carefully, and still often over-did it. It's nice to relax and have fun with a blush without worrying about going so light with the hand for once. As I said, it's a trade-off. Another fabulous product from a fun, innovative, and clever company. If they ever discontinue this shade, I'll revolt. Written on January 23, 2008 Summary: Absolutely Lovely and Sweet! This blush is an absolutely beautiful color on a range of different complexions (not necessarily for the darkest ones). It's high quality, one of the best blushes I've ever used and the brush doesn't suck (surprising, huh?). It also lasts a very long time because you get a generous amount. I highly reccommend this for a lovely, natural, and enchanting flush. Written on January 15, 2008 Summary: For fair skin, possibly the best powder ever. This is the best face powder I've ever used. I have very fair oily skin with sallow undertones and this helps even it out and give me a nice, pretty flush. I wouldn't use it for blush alone because it is so light you'd have to whack on a healthy amount for it to be noticeable. If you just want blush I'd go for Benetint instead. Anyway, a little goes a long way. I've had mine for 2 years and it's almost empty but not quite. My only complaints are the clumsy packaging (a box? really? and no mirror), the price (although, again, a little goes a long way) and the brush (although to be fair, including a decent face brush would make it bulky and even more expensive). Warning: It looks best on fair skin. If you're still on the fence, go to Sephora and sample it first. But it's one of the quickest pick-me-ups I have, great for those mornings when you look in the mirror and wonder how the heck the bride of Frankenstein got into your bathroom. Written on January 14, 2008 Summary: Outstanding!! I'm extremely pale and use this only as a blush. It is the most perfect, subtle, pink glow. I use it daily and would be crushed if it was discontinued. It's that good. Add to that the adorable name, cute packaging, and the fact that I've had this for over a year and barely made a dent in it and I'd say it's absolutely a five star product. My only complaint is this - the cardboard packaging gets pretty dinged up in a makeup bag. My box is nearly as cute as it once was. Small price to pay I guess. Also, I use my own brush. Love it! |
