 Written on February 5, 2008 Summary: Okay The first two sets were very good and thought the 3rd one will be excellent. The 3rd set made my son go bit off.. not much reading, but has little bit of basic activites (e.g, drawing line between word and picture, etc.). Hope the 4th and 5th sets would be goo.  Written on December 28, 2007 Summary: LOVE BOB BOOKS! These are my childs favorite reading books. She's five and asked for sets 4 and 5 for Christmas. Very well put together. It uses repetition for sounds and word groups. Good short sentences that aren't insulting to age level. Much more than "See the cat." The pictures are good in that they don't give away the sentences...the child still has to READ the words. Written on December 11, 2007 Summary: must buy for the beginner reader! must buy for the beginner reader! My son is 5 and NOW can read all of the Bob books. He really loves them and we don't have to "make" him read them. I highly recommend the entire Bob Book collection. Written on October 29, 2007 Summary: BOB BOOKS THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT. Bob Books Set 1-Beginning ReadersI purchased sets 1 through 5 for my Kindergartener, and he loved them! It has helped to build his confidence in reading. The illustrations are simple. The sentences are simple. The stories provide adequate word recognition reinforcement, and then a slight challenge toward the end of the book. Once my son started with set 1, he could not put the books down. I would recommend these books to anyone for their children who are starting to read! |
