Written on February 22, 2000 Summary: Occasionally Helpful This is the book used for General Chemistry at the University of Florida. This book was occasionally helpful with equations and broad topics, but didn't go into enough detail on some subjects, especially in the Acid/Base chapters. Otherwise it's a decent reference.  Written on July 13, 1999 Summary: It just demystifies Chemistry Its a savior for a student taking chemistry for the first time. Literature makes concepts very easy and the grafix are unique and the best I have seen. I am an I.B. student and I think that for a high school chemistry course, this is a wonderful friendly resource. Written on April 23, 1999 Summary: Excellent!! Concise, informative, easy to use, and helpful! I know for a fact that majors colleges are using this book for Chemistry 142-162. I myself am a High School student taking AP Chemistry. I found the book better to be the one assigned to me by my High School and I often use it when things are not clear. This book is excellent. |
