Summary: The Magic of Harry Potter
After the final book in the series came out, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, I started from the beginning and read all of the Harry Potter books. I figured that now that the entire story was told, I would see what all the fuss was about - from beginning to end. I have to admit that I also love the Potter movies and when I saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, I was a little confused by the storyline. I determined to read all the books to understand what was going on!! (Years ago, I had started reading the first book, got half way through and put the book down. I lost interest, silly me.) Little did I know that the little tale of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling would grow through six more books to become an epic story of good and evil, love, loyalty, bravery, wisdom, truth, and ... magic!!!. As I read through the series, each new book became my new favorite (although I still have a special fondness for both the book and the movie version of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban). When I finished Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, I believed that Rowling couldn't possibly top that story, but she did - in the grand finale that left me an emotional wreck at the end of the journey. I look forward to the rest of the movies - so that I can once again enjoy Harry's world. J.K. Rowling's series is a monumental treasure of storytelling that will be enjoyed for many generations to come.

   Summary: Love Harry!
If you are even browsing this page then it is pointless to read any reviews. That means, you are already a fan and know how spell-binding the series is. Every HP book is AMAZING! A great read for all ages.

Summary: Angieville: HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS
What a read. I was all prepared for a Harry Shaped Hole after reading this book, the sense of loss/utter despair I would feel upon finishing the last Harry Potter. But the thing is....it was so much better than I thought it would be. That makes it sound like I didn't trust J.K. Rowling to get the job done, and that simply isn't true. I trusted her implicitly. I gave her ten years of my life. I'll give her next series ten more. But to end it all to my satisfaction? Knowing how many deaths were imminent? Knowing how it was becoming harder and harder to see a way for Harry to defeat Voldemort without dying himself? I couldn't see how she'd do it. But she did. And it was unbelievable how much fun it was.

I'll never forget sitting in the line at my local Barnes & Noble at a quarter to midnight as a strange green firework shoots across the sky above us and worms its way into the shape of the dark mark. The hushed, startled silence of the crowd and then the wild, exultant cheers we erupt into at the sheer magic of it all. I'll never forget turning to the dedication page to find out she'd dedicated the last one to us. "And to You, if you have stuck with Harry until the very end." To me, it was a profoundly touching moment between an author and her readers. It was the most amazingly satisfying reading experience I can imagine. More than I'd hoped for. And in the end, after seven years, just exactly what our boy deserved.

Summary: Incredible ending to the story of 'the boy who lived'.
After resisting reading the books for years, i finally gave in. i was immediately hooked. the voice characterizations are wonderful and familiar across the entire series. this final audio production did the story justice. it is a wonderful and redemptive story, and it was a joy to walk with Harry from the beginning through to the very last word.

Summary: Great conclusion for a great septology
Ah I got this right after it came out (yet now I review it!)
This is no doubt a great series with great characters. I definitely enjoyed it. I stayed up till 7 am reading the last parts of it (notice I say last parts, I'm a slow reader). I read all the previous ones at libraries but decided to buy the other 6 since I've been into them since grade school. I'll probably want to read'm again.
