Professional Review:
The Adderhead--his immortality bound in a book by Meggie's father, Mo--has ordered his henchmen to plunder the villages. The peasants' only defense is a band of outlaws led by the Bluejay--Mo's fictitious double, whose identity he has reluctantly adopted. But the Book of Immortality is unraveling, and the Adderhead again fears the White Women of Death. To bring the renegade Bluejay back to repair the book, the Adderhead kidnaps all the children in the kingdom, dooming them to slavery in his silver mines unless Mo surrends. First Dustfinger, now Mo: Can anyone save this cursed story?

   Summary: Conclusion
I waited in anticipation for this book. I loved the previous ones and was hoping this one wouldn't disappoint and it didn't. First of all let me say that the characters are NOT created for us. The author is sharing herself with us. The characters are hers. With that said, I took my time with the book and read it as slowly as I could. I loved it. I haven't anticipated a book this much since Harry Potter. Kudos to the author for a wonderful and enduring series.

Summary: Good book over all, not as good as the first two
I thought Inkdeath was a good book, but it was not nearly as good as the first two. For some reason, Funke chose to give Meggie a much less important role, taking most of the character's depth away as well. I think this was one of the only things that took away from the book. The beginning was also really boring, and the characters were so untrue to their roles in past books that they hardly seemed like the same characters at all. Other than that, I think the book was extremely well written, with many new engaging characters to enjoy. The ending was satisfactory, and the plot well thought out and exciting. I just wish Funke hadn't changed the characters themselves to fit the plot.

Summary: my deepest fear coming true
when i looked up the book Inkspell about three months ago i was insanely happy about the third book coming out. i counted the days patiently only to find that i was dissapointed by its flaws now i am a firm beleiver in you shalt not trash books but my personal belef is that once i found out that Farid and Meggie weren't staying together i lost all interest. i love how in inkspell it talks about them, while trying to save their lives were doing normal teenage stuff like kissing. this book also wastes valuable time talking about Resa's pregnacy. the ending rounds off well its not like the other books with dark endings its a happy one but the writer finished it the way she thought she should

   Summary: Excellent book!!
By far the better of the 3 books. Definitely didn't exspect it to end the way it did. But figured it had to end with a twist....lol If you enjoy the 1st 2 then you will definitely enjoy this one as well. But if you haven't read them in order don't bother because you are sure to be lost.....lol

Summary: Wonderful, satisfying culmination of a captivating trilogy
When I knew this book was in the mail, I went back and re-read the first two in the trilogy. I loved this book. I think it is the best written of all three, and it brings the story to a very satisfying ending...while leaving one villian still out there for Funke to bring back later if she wants to!
