 Written on October 24, 2008 Summary: do you like hookers? First off, take a look at the cover. You can tell 2 people made that cover. The first one was most likely someone who has produced literature, designed covers, sold books before, and came up with a title. You can tell that person got fired/quit shortly before the 8th grader slapped all the low-rent, poorly drawn computer images all over the bottom of the book. This should have been a clear sign of what lay within. You CAN judge this book by its cover... I give this book 2 stars simply because there is the occasional nugget of truth wedged in-between the pages of garbage. I had read the editorial review for the book, and nowhere in this is there anything along the lines of , "Dr. Tate writes with precision of a scalpel, that cuts like a chain saw." It is half right... his precision in writing is about that of a chain saw; about once every page there is a major grammatical error. The cover refers to the writer as a Doctor, however i have my doubts given that he has the spelling and writing skills of a middle school student. Every couple of pages when he is describing how a woman thinks, feels, etc., ends the sentence with (GAG) or (BARF). After looking for answers how a publishing company would print this, i found out that "Dr." Tate has made his own publishing company, TPB Publishing, LLC (The Professional Bachelor publishing, LLC). If no publisher was going to print this garbage, what made him think that he should? He should have shelled out an extra couple thousand to have someone read over this before he put it on the market... or at least used an up to date writing software with spell check. Well, as for the information you find within this tome, he does teach one where to go to pick up hookers when you visit wonderful places like Costa Rica, and Bangkok. Yes, for all the "teaching" this man does on picking up women, his source for all these women he claims to have shmoozed into bed is his wallet and an extensive list of escort services, whore houses, and other places to get sexual favors in exchange for money. Professional Bachelor indeed. My recommendation for anyone looking for something more legit, and a much better read besides, would be "The Game" by Neil Strauss. If you have already gone through that, perhaps just reading field reports from people within the community of pickup artists. At least they teach you something and its a much better read. Written on October 24, 2008 Summary: Tongue in cheek lessons Great stuff, intellectual humor tongue in cheek. There are men who are players, men who get played, and nothing in between. This book teaches you to be a player. How to impress without seeking approval, social status, building value while creating scarcity, determining a girl's hot buttons, emotions, desires, and needs, and how to satisfy them. All the tools you need to attract. Anyone who's heard of Tom Leykus will love it. It's a few levels above him; a Masters course in Testosterone psychology. I'm not a big reader, but this book is different. Intriguing, and at times fascinating. It's filled with ripping observation humor and sarcastic points, which work because it's all based on truth. You can pick it up and start on any page and be in the zone in seconds. I've re-read it in pieces numerous times, and picked up new stuff each time. A guaranteed conversation starter when you leave it out on the TV room table. The men all smile, wink and give it a thumbs up; the women whip through a few pages, smirk, and go into denial rants...however, if you're not dating them, most will secretly confide that it's all true, and they wish men weren't reading it. This is a man's man book that must be owned.  Written on October 23, 2008 Summary: An essential book for men Bought for financial protection tips. Very effective guide for setting up asset shelters for divorce protection. A must read primer before hitting the law offices. From simple to complex shelters, it's all covered here. In fact, it's better than some of the seminars I've been to. Many strategies I've heard of before, some interesting new ones; this book broke them down and made them simple to understand. In our lawsuit happy country, and the way so many women divorce guys with money at the drop of a hat, only a fool wouldn't have this set up. It's not expensive; the book shows how you can even set it up yourself. Highly recommended.  Written on October 23, 2008 Summary: Written by an Average Frustrated Chump (AFC), dont waste your money! The Title of this book should be the AFC Guide to being a pussy. I usually check on other people's comments about products before I purchase them. So far it has worked great until this book. If you are interested in buying, I'll send you my copy for free. No seriously, just email me. You will do me a favor. First of all, this guy is not a doctor, neither a PUA. His advise is clearly from an AFC. Just listen "...the more attention you show her in a discussion, the quicker the bitch shields and panties will fall." or "Smile, have piercing eye contact and nod your head in agreement like a retarded bobbing head doll." Seriously, what kind of advice is this? Has he ever heard of a neg? or Being cocky and funny? What about an opener? His book is full of lame attempts to being funny while putting women down. He assumes that every woman is after your money. OH PLEASE! Another thing, by the second chapter he already talks about what to do on dates and how to keep them less than 30 minutes. "Date two or three is the time to create a subconscious emotional connection which sets up the close." Why would you wait that long? If you follow Mystery's M3, you will know how build attraction since the beginning. Then comfort. Then Seduction. If you are interested in improving your game and understanding the dynamics of a pickup get Mystery's Method. By far the best book ever in this subject next to Neil Strauss' The Game. Oh and the last chapter of this book is dedicated to finding prostitutes while traveling abroad. Yeah go ahead and catch and STD! Written on October 21, 2008 Summary: Funny and a Little Dangerous I bought this book and Secrets of the A Game by Logan Edwards to help figure out why I'm not meeting and attracting the types of women I'm into. Professional Bachelor offers some great advice and I learned a lot. Unlike Secrets of the A Game, I wouldn't want anyone to know I read this though... |
