Written on March 10, 2008 Summary: Hopefull This is a great book. Although a lot of the book centers around divorce, it is a great help for those who have suffered a death. Although don't get most of the poems it is a great help and makes you realize you are not going through this alone, there are people who feel the same as you. You can open it anywhere and read, or you can read it through. Written on December 14, 2007 Summary: Healing I actually found this book on a reduced shelf at a car wash around 1990. . It helped to read, read and re-read it over and over again. Not just read actually, but, absorb the words.. you're not the only one, you WILL get over it, the pain WILL lessen with time.. I used it to work through my mom's death, then, the 'death' of a long term relationship. My psychologist decades ago, recommended a small book that really helped my depression VERY VERY WELL. It's emotionally empowering in my opinion: "Man's Search For Meaning" by Viktor E. Frankl.. READ them BOTH. |
